After what seemed like an eternity and a LOT of stress and unnecessary communications, we finally managed to move to our new house in July. I haven’t updated this blog for a long time, and that is partly why. We were in limbo for ages and then when we did move we had no Internet for a while, but things are now settled. I even have a computer room with a desk and everything, so posting updates should now be easier, and all being well, more frequent too.
On the subject of moving, if you ever need to use Bradley Haynes Law in Worcester, then I feel very sorry for you. I won’t go into too much detail here as they will have their own review in due course, but they are an absolute shambles of a company. They don’t know their arse from their elbow and are actually rude to boot. Even at director level. If you can avoid them, then do so. Thankfully we never instructed them, but they acted for our buyer, the poor buggers.
Elsewhere in my rather mundane life things are ticking along nicely. My Astra died, so that got scrapped, I then took ownership of a VW Passat. That is doing alright but it has broken down 5 times so far in the few months I have owned it. Thankfully VW were kind enough to accept me for PCP on a new Golf, so that is currently waiting to be built and I should have it around January time. It’s going to be such a long wait. I originally wanted an Astra but I failed the credit (due to house move). The Golf will be better I’m sure.
I got invited to a fair few events and openings over the summer as Worcester has had quite a few new restaurants open, but I couldn’t make it to them. More reviews will be done from now on though. My camera also needs to be used more so I need a good kick up the arse to get back into photography – I promise I will.
